Library Director

Beth Kingdon is our current library director.  Beth has worked at the Readlyn Community Library part-time since 2022 and took over the Director position on August 1, 2024.  Prior to moving to the area, she worked as the library director at the Marcus Public Library in northwest Iowa for several years.  She enjoys reading, writing, drawing, painting, antiquing, anything to do with history, showing dogs, and working with her horses.  Beth and husband live on a farm west of Oelwein, with two Samoyed dogs and two horses.
